Collection of Information
In connection with your use of the TaxiTapp Services, Company may request and/or collect certain personal information from you, which may include, without limitation, your first and last name, home address, shipping address, phone number, email address, geographic location, geopositional data and credit or debit card number (“Your Information”). By entering Your Information via the TaxiTapp Services or otherwise providing Your Information to Company, you consent to Company’s use of Your Information for purposes discussed herein, as well as for purposes related to the TaxiTapp Services.
Company will not sell, share, or rent Your Information to others in ways different from those disclosed in this Policy. Company does not intend to collect information from children under 13 years of age. If Company discovers that it has inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 years of age, Company will promptly take all reasonable measures to delete that data from its systems.
Company may also collect information through the use of common information-gathering tools such as web beacons, cookies, and server logging, including, but not limited to, the date and time of your visit, your IP address, your web browser type, the pages you visit, and the website you came from. You may opt-out of receiving promotional and/or other marketing materials by following the opt-out instructions contained in the materials or by emailing Company at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Company will use also Your Information to respond to requests you may make of Company. Company may also refer to Your Information to better understand your needs and how Company can improve the TaxiTapp Services.
Company may enhance or merge Your Information with data obtained from third parties for the same purposes. In addition, Company may aggregate information provided by you via the TaxiTapp Services in a non-personally identifiable manner. Such aggregated information may be disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes or for web analytics.
Any non-personally identifiable information transferred by you in connection with your use of the TaxiTapp Services may be included in databases owned and maintained by Company or its agents. Company retains all rights to these databases and the information contained in them and may use and disclose such information for marketing purposes or otherwise.
Company may share portions of Your Information, such as your phone number, address, geographic location and geopositional data, with taxi providers that will provide you with taxi transportation services that you request through the TaxiTapp Services. Company makes no representation or warranty as to the security or privacy of Your Information after it has been disclosed to a taxi provider.
Company may also share Your Information with agents, contractors or partners in connection with services that these individuals or entities perform for, or with, Company. These agents, contractors or partners are restricted from using this data in any way other than to provide services for Company. Company may, for example, provide Your Information to agents, contractors or partners for hosting Company’s databases, for data processing services, to process payments, or to send you promotional materials.
Company reserves the right to share Your Information in response to duly authorized information requests of governmental authorities or where required by law. Company may also disclose Your Information if necessary for fraud protection and credit risk reduction purposes, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of Company or the users of the TaxiTapp Services or to act under urgent circumstances to protect the safety of Company or its employees or a member of the public.
Company may also provide Your Information to a third party in connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of the business of Company to which the information relates, in which case Company will require any such buyer to agree to treat Your Information in accordance with this Policy.
Company may share aggregated demographic information with third party sponsors and advertisers. This aggregated demographic information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
Company employs commercially reasonable measures to protect Your Information. For example, areas of this Site that collect Your Information encrypt transfers to us through secure socket layer encryption (SSL).
