The Iowa Startup Accelerator is already 1/3 of the way finished with 65 days until Demo Day. TaxiTapp has progressed fast during the first month and has received amazing support from the program leaders Eric Englemann and David Tominsky. The mentor community has also provided great feedback during mentor matchups and weekly pitch events. The program has brought together a great network of teams including CareAcademy, CareDrop, EarMashin, GolfRz, Goquets, Home Scene Pro, Stratbase, and Swineguard. The teams have quickly begun to form friendships around the camaraderie of entrepreneurship while sharing tips and advice for common obstacles and situations.
The Iowa Startup Accelerator is held in the Geonetric Building (415 12th Ave SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401) located in the Newbo District of Cedar Rapids. The Geonetric building is an amazing three story facility that includes co-working spaces, conference rooms, classrooms, in-house mentors, rec area with a ping pong table, kitchen, and showers. The building hosts many entrepreneurial organizations including 1 Million Cups, the Vault, and local Meetup organizations.

TaxiTapp will be launching nationwide in September! We are excited to see our platform hit the marketplace in multiple states with growing support for our 100% free platform campaign.
We look forward to making the most of our remaining 2 months here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. TaxiTapp will be presenting September 16 @ 9am for the 1 Million Cups event located in Iowa City.
