Recently, TaxiTapp presented for 1 Million Cups at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. 1 Million Cups “is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs.” The event was held in the Film Scene building located in the popular nightlife area of the Pedestrian Mall. The event had strong participation and TaxiTapp was able to receive great feedback from individuals in the crowd.
We would like to thank 1 Million Cups for giving us the opportunity to present and congratulate our fellow ISA team SwineGuard for an amazing presentation. We would also like to congratulate our other ISA team CareAcademy which won the Audience Choice Award at Iowa Women Lead Change in Des Moines, Iowa.
TaxiTapp is already half way done with the Iowa Startup Accelerator. This week, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley visited the Accelerator and awarded it with the App Economy Spotlight sponsored by The App Association for it’s diversity in innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. With only 49 days left, we are getting more excited for Demo Day on November 5th.
