TaxiTapp recently attended the 2015 Innovation Expo held in Coralville, Iowa. The team was invited to be an exhibitor at Entrepreneur’s Showcase and participated in the Pitch & Grow Event with 15 other startups. TaxiTapp advanced to the final round with fellow Iowa Startup Accelerator teams CareAcademy and SwineTech. Great feedback was given to TaxiTapp from expert panelists Frank Pinero, David Hensley, Camille Urban, and Scott Swenson. During Entrepreneur’s Showcase, TaxiTapp successfully introduced our mobile application and dispatch software benefits to the local public, mentors, and investors.
It was great to see Beau the Bear from Goquets.com finally appear in person at Innovation Expo. How could you not like a giant bear who gives out free flowers…? We would like to thank Iowa Economic Development and other sponsors for making the Innovation Expo possible. Amazing innovations are coming out of Iowa by local companies that will provide solutions to current inefficiencies in the marketplace. We encourage the local Cedar Rapids community to come out to our Demo Day which is just one week away on November 7.
